Philip Rucker (Full name: Philip James Madelen Rucker) is an American political analyst and a member of the White House press corps. Currently, he is the White House Bureau Chief at The Washington Post. Rucker is also a Political Analyst for NBC News & MSNBC and Co-author of “A Very Stable Genius.” He has been working for the Washington Post since 2005.

Philip covered the Trump administration for the Post and had previously covered Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign. Jim Wertz, the Chairman of the Erie County Democratic Party, has called Rucker “one of Washington, D.C.’s most respected journalists.
